City View Top DocsA native Tennesseean, Dr. Scott was born in Memphis and earned a BA from Vanderbilt University in Nashville. He then went on to receive his MD from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.

Dr. Scott did both his internship and residency in internal medicine at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. He then completed a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at the University of Tennessee.

Dr. Scott has served as a Clinical Instructor and a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Illinois and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
